kosa8 audit verify

Check that the audit log has not been altered

Walks the hash chain and confirms every entry is authentic and none is missing. After retention has pruned, the chain resumes from a sealed checkpoint of the last entry removed; --archive also verifies the sealed segments those entries were moved into, as one chain with the live log.
